FOTD + Mini Haul: Illamasqua, L'oreal and more...

So today was my Dad's birthday, so to celebrate me, my Mam & my Dad (of course) went to a lovely local Chinese restaurant which was nice just every course I had contained tofu so I got a bit sick of it by the end!
I decided to keep my make up nice and natural, as it was just a casual lunch

Now to my mini haul...
My Illamasqua order arrived this morning! I was so excited as I hadn't tried any of their products before! I ordered the Powder Blush in Hussy and Concealer in CC105 as these were both in the sale and only cost me around £10, such a bargain!

The formula of this concealer is really lovely, it's really creamy and smooth, it goes on so well, also it smells like milkybar which is just delightful! This shade is basically white with pink undertones, the reason I bought this is I thought it would be a really nice to use as a highlight and to brighten up the dark circles under my eyes, which it does, it's such a nice product and I'd definitely recommend it!

OK this is now my new favourite blusher, the formula is beautiful, it's not too powdery it glides onto your cheeks really nicely, the colour is what I love most, it is totally matte and has no shimmer at all, but it really is the perfect blush shade for me, it is really natural and just adds such a nice pop of colour to your cheeks, it is such a must have and recommend it to everyone as I think it would suit most skin tones!

So after our lovely meal, me and my Mam went to Tesco to grab some groceries, but typically, I had to go down the beauty isle too, I notice that this 'Miss Manga' mascara by L'oreal was on offer for only £5.99 (£5.40 using my Dad's privilege card) so I thought it'd be rude not to try it for this price! First of all, I love the packaging, it's nice, girly and almost looks expensive, but what I like most is the unusual brush, the brush is really quite thin making it ideal for bottom lashes but also it really grabs onto your top lashes making them look so long! Definitely recommend!

I also picked up these in Tesco as I needed them desperately! I'd just thrown out my old sharpeners as they were rather disgusting and I thought this one looked practical with the plastic cover and it was only £2.10 so I threw it into the basket! As for the Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion, I used to use this everyday but as my skin got better I felt I didn't need it, however my skin has gotten so oily and gross lately I needed it back in my life, this was only £2 and it is totally worth every penny, it instantly mattifies, clears out your pores and leaves your skin feel refreshed!

    1. totally agree! I don't get why it's classed as a product for sensitive skin though, if my skin was sensitive I definitely wouldn't use it!xxx
